I'm sure many of you have heard of the Ibotta app. For those of you who haven't, I'll let you know what it's about. In the simplest of terms, Ibotta is a rebate app. There's a list of cash-back offers for several retailers and you select the ones you plan on purchasing. After you buy the items, you upload your receipt and scan the bar codes of the qualifying items, and then you get the rebate. To sweeten the deal, Ibotta will give you $20 once you have two friends sign up and they each redeem an offer. Sounds easy enough, right? Wrong!
